That last image makes me wish we’d had Chameleons in our army when we marched against the Burgundians. Try teaching a farm boy to hold a sword when a fully grown man smashes a similar chunk of metal against it. People have all these notions about clashing steal and back and forth. No. Most sword fights with broad swords are finished within three strikes. Chameleons seem very competent it working past that failure of human anatomy.
