Unique. I call us Monsters, cryptid, or Cousins.

It is my belief, as I outline in the “Monstrous Myths” series on my website, that we are the root of most human mythology involving humanoid monsters. If you care to review it, I suggest beginning with the Gorgon. It was the first post, and a personal favorite for many reasons.
