These are Malaysian Blue Carpenter Bees!!!!! Aren’t they gorgeous! Such a pretty color! I had no idea there were blue bees!

Now all i want is to make friends with a blue bee.

I wondered if they made a honey, but according to wikipedia, carpenter bees are not particularly social, so don’t really make significant hives. So probably not a significant amount of honey if they make any.

Indeed, so I find. They do not appear to make honey.
