These are Malaysian Blue Carpenter Bees!!!!! Aren’t they gorgeous! Such a pretty color! I had no idea there were blue bees!

Now all i want is to make friends with a blue bee.

So I assumed this was just another case of people on tumblr just editing a random color change onto something and claiming it to be some fancy exotic thing, but I google searched and found this wiki. So either someone is REALLY dedicated to keeping this ruse going, or the internet has ruined me so that I never believe anything anymore.
