For a while the only thing stopping me from taking you fully at your word and “believing” in you was the potential gotcha, like if when the experiment ends you say “Ha – it was all a fiction and you all proved my point by falling for it” but. following you for some time, and seeing what you have to say about all sorts of nothings to do with the experiment, has led me to believe you’re not the kind of person to have such disingenuous intentions.

I can and will promise you now: there will never be a “gotcha”.

I have no intentions of making anyone into a punchline.

Your words allow me to point out now, why I have social media and why I reply on posts that have nothing to do with monsters or myths. It gives the gentle readers a very different perspective on me and qualifies all my other words. You’re here to watch me exist and see what you think of it. So I must actually exist.

So either you’re a truly remarkable individual, or a truly remarkable actor.

I’m a terrible actor. Never put me on a stage. Ever. I have terrible stage fright. And by that, I mean I lose all abaility to form coherent thought and end up murdering half the cast.

My kind are not meant to be the center of observation. It’s very uncomfortable.

I take it you’re new here, so allow me to make it clear that this experiment is self contained and funded. I never step forward to provide any proof or take any personal credit for anything. This name is a pseudonym, and I have no desires to be famous. I’m here to do a task. That’s all.

whenever i eat mushrooms i think about how one day mushrooms are gonna eat me… i make sure to chew really gently so they’ll return the favor 2 my corpse

Hey op

me, through a mouthful of gently-chewed mushrooms: yeah?

Pass the mushrooms.

binch i have over 170,000 notes on that post i’m just thankful you’re not trying to ‘tell’ me fascist germany was left wing

Firstly, there’s no need to be rude. Secondly, I don’t care about your notes. Thirdly, you felt compelled to come to investigate me based on one sentence? You needed to go to my blog, scan through my FAQ, post images of it, and mock me publicly for saying that humans never learn and it’s becoming amusing? I agreed with your post and you’re that angry with me? that invested? You have that much time to waste?

Either you misunderstand me entirely, or you are a very unusual person.

The rise of fascism and nationalism has a very definite and obvious pattern. I have seen it countless times and I see it now, as I have been saying on my blog for months now. But it is easy to discount what someone like me says, because of the inherent skepticism you’ve created in the modern mind. The human species is so bad at discerning truth from fiction now, they’ll continue to fall prey to the same difficulties, because history…that indelible thing, is now a story, and a story…cannot harm you.

That is why we now have a president who can say “Fake News” and talk of “alternative facts”. Reality has been made malleable, because of the prevalence and the celebration of fiction and lore.

But I lived through it. I saw it with my own eyes, and yet to say that, to be obvious about it, I am mocked by the very people with whom I agree…because I claim to be a monster who eats people.

Fascinating, isn’t it.
